FULL BODY MASSAGE - totally unique
(I'll explain)

Sadly, a true "full body" massage is getting harder to find leaving many health benefits behind. Students coming out of massage schools today are not being taught the importance of working the entire body for increased circulation throughout the body leaving the receiver a feeling of completeness; a holistic experience. Each area of the body works in conjunction with another. What is happening on the back of the body is reflected on the front of the body. After all, the rib cage is not separated on the sides but goes completely around the body. A tight front thigh muscle is many times relieved by loosening the inner thigh muscles. Each muscle of the body has ONE main function; if "X" muscles extends the arm there is a "Y" muscle that brings it back. This is very simplified but perhaps you get the idea.
Common areas of the body that go untouched in most franchise massage places are:
The gluteal muscles (the butt) - if you have low back pain, more than likely     these muscles are tight and you'll never feel better until they are loosened.
The abdomen - massaging this area helps with digestion and excretion.
The ribs - want to breathe deeper and feel lighter in your chest; this is a must.
The breast - amazing how moving these glands helps with relieving tension from the neck and upper chest muscles not to mention keeping them from becoming stagnate (hum, do you suppose bad things happen when things don't move).
The upper chest - let's see, this is the front side of the tightness in my shoulders; could that help me feel better?
The thigh & hamstrings - do these muscles really just stop a few inches above my knee?
The side of the body & legs - ladies need the area of the armpit extended and massaged; men need the outside of the leg loosened (remember the opposite also).

Another thing that is missing from most massage sessions is range-of-motion (stretching) and moving limbs to best get to muscles that need attention.

I invite you to find an independent massage therapist that is not afraid to massage your entire body. These people should be known as "health care practitioners" rather than massage therapists that just spread lotion or oil on your body (your spouse or best friend can do that). The only area that is not allowed by Texas law is the genitalia. Draping is full sheet, or two towels, or one towel, or none at all. Texas law permits no draping provided it is consensual with both therapist and client.

I INVITE YOU TO CALL ME.
